Having both owned film cameras since childhood, both Marc and Asia confess to an undying love of film photography and of course, hand developing there own film and prints. In fact, Marc is too fussy to let anyone else do it. They use an array of 35mm and medium format cameras on a daily basis and yes, the year is 2012!
Asia can be found hand in hand with her Hasselblad 6x6 medium format camera while Marc opts for the Mamiya RZ Pro II 6x7. Both wonderful cameras that give an image un-like that taken by digital. When you request a session with Traditional Photographers Marc and Asia to take a portraits on film, the results are more fine art than photograph. You would do well to request this format. The resulting images are hand made in house and utterly unique. They sign this work in person.
Digital Photography
It goes without saying that Marc and Asia use and have mastered the very latest in digital technology. Always walking the line on the cutting edge of digital camera equipment you can be sure to see them use the latest kit. We saw the same attention to detail that we saw in there outstanding film photography techniques.
From the current market leaders to the fastest lenses. What ever suits. Carl Zeiss being the favorite glass. However, it's not about bells and whistles. The images taken lift off the page to inspire, stir a memory or two and cause reflection. No amount of megapixels will ever compete with the eyes of these guys.

With Marc having directed many film / video shoots (moving image and stills) both on-set and off, from Pinewood Studios to small theatre groups and troops he has done a great deal of performing arts based photography. Production stills, pre-production, theatre, headshots, drama, dancers. Musicians/bands from McFly to Del Boy, from small cafes to vast London concerts as D.P or principal photographer.
Asia has a long track record of band and celebrity photography spending time with The Libertines, Kate Moss and more to name a few. With previous BBC employment she is fully versed in studio etiquette. We had a great time working with them and its a real privilige these days to work with true professionals who dont just know the game, they live it.
